Kindra Lake Towing provided 2 tugs to assist in the replacement of the Wells Street bridge. The south leaf was replaced first and a month later, the north leaf was completed. This projected required intense coordination to move the newly built leafs from the construction yard near Bubbly Creek to the jobsite transiting 20 bridges. Once each new leaf was on site, the old leaf was cut free and floated out. The new leaf was floated in and permanently connected to the bridge.
Kindra Lake Towing provided ballasting services and barge towing to move a large, 500 ton electrical stator on Goldhofer trailers from Lemont to St. Joseph, MI. The barge had to be ballasted to one foot of freeboard to clear under the low railroad bridge in Lemont.
